Once you are in the unit your private suite will be unlocked with keys inside along with a parking slip. Upon departure, keys are to be left in the unit. GETTING AROUND Canmore is a beautiful town located in the Canadian Rockies, approximately 105 km west of Calgary. Visitors can get to Canmore by car, bus, or shuttle. If you're flying into Calgary International Airport, there are several shuttle services available that can take you directly to Canmore. Once you've arrived in Canmore, there are several local transportation options available. The town is relatively small, so walking or biking are popular choices for getting around. Additionally, there are local bus services and taxis available for those who prefer not to walk or bike. If you choose to drive, our property comes with one parking stall, so you don't have to worry about finding a parking spot. The parking stall is located on-site and is reserved exclusively for our guests. This makes it easy for you to explore the town and surrounding areas at your own pace, without having to worry about where to park your car when you return to the property.

February 2026 5.00We had a wonderful stay at Chris and Tanya’s place. The unit was very clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and communication was clear and responsive throughout our stay. The space was well maintained and had everything we needed. We really appreciated the attention to detail and how easy everything was. Overall, a great experience — I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

February 2026 2.00We were genuinely excited about our stay and had been looking forward to visiting. Unfortunately, severe winter weather conditions made travel unsafe at the time of our reservation, and for safety reasons, we made the difficult decision not to proceed with the trip. We reached out to the host as early as possible to request a possible reschedule due to the extreme weather, but were informed that no modifications could be made as it was outside the allowed period. While we understand that policies are in place, we were disappointed that there was no flexibility offered given the safety concerns and unexpected weather conditions. Future guests may want to carefully review the cancellation policy, especially when booking during winter months when travel conditions can change quickly.

February 2026 5.00We had a wonderful stay at Chris and Tanya’s place in downtown Canmore. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of town, with restaurants, cafés, and shops just steps away, and an easy drive to Banff as well. The suite was clean, comfortable, and very well set up for a family. My wife and I stayed in the master bedroom, and the kids had the bunk bed, which they absolutely loved. Having access to a fully equipped shared kitchen and free parking in downtown made the stay even more convenient. Chris and Tanya were great hosts—clear instructions, smooth check-in, and thoughtful details throughout the stay. The space felt welcoming and relaxing, perfect after a day of exploring the Rockies. There were also games available, though we didn’t get much time to enjoy them since we were busy exploring outdoors. Highly recommend this place for families or groups visiting Canmore. We’d happily stay here again!

January 2026 5.00Chris and Tanya’s boutique hotel was awesome! Such a great location in downtown Canmore, close to shops and restaurants! The hotel was really cool and gave a great vibe to our stay. We only had 3 people, but it would be really cool to get a big group and rent the whole place! Thank you Chris and Tanya!

January 2026 5.00We really enjoyed our stay at Chris and Tanya’s place. It was our first trip to Banff. The space was even better than we expected and priced very fairly. The suite had everything we needed including a selection of board games and a kitchen with tea, coffee and hot chocolate to warm up after a day in the snow. The place was extremely clean. Hosts were very helpful providing recommendations on nearby spots. Location is wonderful as it’s walking distance to shops and great restaurants. We will definitely be staying again.
